Product description

The FKV-14P three-phase phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment against critical faults in the power supply network. It provides comprehensive control of phase presence, phase failure, phase jamming, asymmetry (fixed 40%), phase missequence and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

• Normal operation: if all three mains voltages are present, the phase sequence is correct and the winding temperature does not exceed the limits, the relay switches on (contacts 15-18 are closed) and the OUT LED lights up.

• Voltage error or asymmetry: If the voltage of any phase deviates by more than 40%, contacts 15-18 will open and contacts 15-16 will energize; the OUT LED will be off.

• Phase sequence error: the relay responds by opening the contacts and turning off the OUT LED.

• Winding temperature exceeded: Relay disconnects output until temperature returns to allowable limits.

• Restore Operation: The relay automatically returns to the operating state after the parameters have been normalized.
