Product description:
The FKV-03N is a three-phase control relay designed to protect electric motors against phase mis-sequence, phase failure and excessive asymmetry. The relay does not have a zero conductor control and the asymmetry is fixed at 40%.

The relay is ideal for industrial applications where fast and reliable protection of motors from damage caused by improper connections or voltage fluctuations is required.

Algorithm of operation

1. Normal operation:

   • All three phases are present.

   • Phase sequence is correct.

   • Voltage asymmetry is within a tolerance range of ≤ 40%.

   • The relay is in operating condition - contacts 2-3 are closed, PWR and RLY indicators are lit.

2. Faulty condition:

   • If the voltage of any phase exceeds the permissible limits or the phase sequence is incorrect:

     • Contacts 2-3 disconnect,

     • Contacts 1-2 switch on,

     • RLY indicator goes off.

3. Return to normal:

   • When the correct voltage and phase sequence are restored, the relay automatically switches back to the operating state.
