Product description

The DS-48 pulse counter is a universal two-input panel counter equipped with two 4-digit LED displays (current value + target value). It can count, subtract and process signals from mechanical switches, PNP/NPN inductive sensors and incremental encoders. Its wide selection of input and output functions makes it suitable for industrial automation systems, production lines, measuring stations and process control.

Installation recommendations

• Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shield

• Separate signal wires from power and power cables

• Use an F250 mA / 250 VAC fuse on the power input

• Protect equipment from moisture, vibration, dust and extreme temperature

• For mechanical switches, it is recommended to set the input frequency to 20 Hz

• When using two inputs:

• Phs4 mode → max. ¼ input frequency

• Modes 1u2u, 1u2d, Phs2 → max. ½ input frequency
