TENSE Bistable Electronic Pulse Relay (Start-Stop / Memory Relay), 150-260 V AC
Bistable electronic pulse relay from TENSE (Turkey) allows control of lighting or other devices from any number of locations using parallel connected pushbuttons. It is ideal for domestic installations, commercial buildings and industrial systems where simple pulse control is required without the use of conventional staircase or crossbar switches.
Description and features
The relay allows the device to be switched on or off based on a short pulse from a momentary (bell) button. An internal bistable mechanism ensures that the relay changes state after the button is pressed and remains in that state until the next pulse. This ensures simple and reliable control by one or more controllers in parallel.
A great advantage of this model is the increased safety - there is no need to supply 220/230 V mains voltage to the push button input. A simple short-circuiting of the button contacts is sufficient, which does not endanger the user or require the use of live wires at the point of control.
